Club meetings start again on the 11th September 2018 and will continue on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, as usual.



September 11th - Back to Basics Refresher - Presentation on photography basics, followed by Members’ ‘Summer Sizzlers’ - images taken recently. Bring along camera kit and manuals.
September 25th - Review & critique of our 2018 Exhibition - Looking at judging criteria, & intro to our new ‘Three seasons’ competition.
October 9th - Practical Evening - TBC - Bring camera kit, manuals and tripods.
October 23rd - French Liaisons, and Creating a Photobook - Details of a fresh initiative with Ouistreham Camera Club, plus creating a photobook
November 13th - AGM - Eased along with tempting refreshments, followed by a Faststone refresher
November 27th - Practical Evening - Portrait session - some local faces have been invited! Bring camera kit.
December 11th - Christmas Social - Drinks and partyish nibbles, plus a Quiz. Also viewing Members’ Christmas Crackers - details at 25th September meeting.

2019
January 8th
- Field Trips of 2018 - A look back at last year’s Club field trips, accompanied by photographs, and members’ ideas for the year ahead.
January 22nd - Handbell Demonstration - A chance to photograph Angmering Handbell Ringers in their finery, and closeup shots of the bells. Possibly even a chance to ‘have a go’ ourselves.
February 12th - Smartphone & Tablet Photography, and Filters - Another look at achievable possibilities using Smartphone cameras, followed by a presentation on filters
February 26th - Flash Guns - Presentation and YouTube footage on using off-camera flash guns for portrait photography. Bring along cameras & manuals, and flash guns if you have them.
March 12th - Members’ Input Evening - Any photographic hints, tips or experience you have that maybe worth sharing? Eg making cash from photos, ideas on storage and backup of prints/digital images, camera bags that work well, etc, etc. More details before the meeting.
March 26th - Using Your Camera for Video - A presentation on taking video footage with your camera. Bring cameras and manuals.
9th April - Architecture - Thoughts and ideas on photographing architecture, followed by Members’ ‘Easter Surprises’.

23rd April - Practical Evening - Photographing moths in soft boxes. Alive, yet chilled!
14th May - Creative Evening - Abstract Photography. Ideas for creating and presenting abstract images.
28th May - Practical Evening - Field Trip, location to be decided nearer the date, dependent on weather. Bring camera kit and tripods.

There are no formal meetings in June, July & August.
